We booked two tours with Bernat: a partial day “Unforgettable Tarragona” tour for the morning we arrived in Tarragona, as well as a full day tour to the Priorat wine region.

Bernat is very patient, kind, and knowledgeable. With his expertise and planning, we were able to make the most of our short visit to the Tarragona region.

Bernat worked with us via e-mail in advance of the trip to help us build an itinerary for our full day tour to the Priorat region; he put together a great day that included visits to multiple wineries, a dining reservation, and a visit to the very special, picturesque town of Siurana. The people we met at the wineries were all very kind and gave us interesting tours and educational tastings. Our winery visits were private and felt very exclusive. We enjoyed lovely wines, were blessed with fabulous weather, and had a wonderful day.

Walking with Bernat who guides you through Tarragona is a beautiful journey of discovery in time and space. By describing what is surrounding you, illustrated by his maps, you find yourself launched into the previous centuries and located in a Roman town, a medieval city, a 18th C. house, … and then in a contemporary street. So easy to imagine thanks to the stories and clearly mapped illustrations.

Best tour we have done in ANY European country! Bernat was very knowledgeable, answered all our questions and made the whole day fun. It was just my wife and I on the tour, he drove us to a couple different locations and at the end of the tour, walked us to a market so we didn’t get lost and told us some recommendations to eat there. We didn’t feel rushed at all, you could tell that Barnat enjoys doing this and it really comes through on the tours.

I spent almost 2 weeks in spain and this trip was one of the very best, the guide was very helpful, full of knowledge about every single details we asked about, it was really very great spent day with him, I would do it again for the other side of the city.

We have traveled quite a lot and been on several tours and activities, but this was by far the most personal, most knowledgeable, interesting tour i ever have done. We did “Devil’s Bridge” first and then Tarragona. Bernat is so great listening to and full of facts. But not only names and years, he puts it in perspective and really makes you understand the big picture. He made us feel very special and took so good care of us. I would recommend him every day, and we will for sure come back for more adventures.

Isabel was a fantastic guide! We took a private tour of the old city on a Monday so even though some places were closed I feel like we got the very best of the city. She was so insightful so thoughtful so kind with the kids. Really it felt like touring with a professor of history. The city is beautiful- my favorite place in Spain so far. Bernat is a wonderful tour guide who is great at listening and personalizing the experience to your needs and desires. My girlfriend and I decided to do a tour in the wine district of Priorat, something we’ve been wanting to do for a long time. We chose Bernat out of luck, not only is he a very nice guy, he is super knowledge and speaks very good English.

Bernat explained the origins of the Priorat wine, we visited several local and authentic wineries, tasted wines of exceptional quality and visited the impressive Cartoixa d’Escaladei (Carthusian Monastery of Santa Maria d’Escaladei) with the beautiful Montsant mountain behind.

To top if off we also had the opportunity to eat home cooked local food in one of the wineries. Delicious! Wine, food and beautiful nature, what more could one ask for — Thank you very much, Bernat for the great experience. Bernat is a great guide. He has great knowledge in art and architecture. He made an excellent tour explaining interesting anecdotes and traditions of Tarragona’s old town. One of the best parts was the visit to the incredible medieval Cathedral. He was able to take us to the hidden bell tower walking upstairs where we enjoyed the exceptional views of the city and the beautiful sea.

What a joy for our group to explore the timeless treasures of Barcelona with Bernat as our guide. Despite a rare rainy day in Catalonia, Bernat was able to shepherd us through a range of fascinating neighborhoods, historic sites and spectacular settings across the city — culminating in a moving visit to la Sagrada Familia. In just a few short hours, we not only visited several must-see locations, but also learned about the history, culture and importance of the city and the region from a native. Bernat gave us the most wonderful tour of La Sagrada Familia this week! He knew so much about the history, Gaudi, and future plans for the beautiful church. He gave me a new appreciation for Gaudi and now I can’t wait to learn more about him. He took all of my million questions and answered them really well. He was a joy to tour with!

Bernat planned and executed an excellent tour of Barcelona. We were two couples, and all four of us greatly enjoyed the full-day excursion. Our main focus was Gaudi and his incredible works, with in-depth tours of La Sagrada Familia (of course!), Casa Milá (La Pedrera), and Parc Güell. Amazing tour to different roman sites near Tarragona. Bernat designed for us a customized tour to different sites around. The impressive Roman Aqueduct, the Roman stone quarry, the Roman villa in Altafulla. Bernats knowledge about Tarragona and his passion for the roman history really shines throu!

Together with family visiting from the States we did a full day tour with Trails and Culture. On our request Bernat tailor made a private tour for us that among other things included the amazing Roman Tarragona, the Roman aqueduct, the devils bridge and the picturesque village of Montblanc.
